Premier Sports must address shoddy stream issues after Scottish Cup display

THE HOME OF KNOCKOUT SCOTTISH FOOTBALL was blighted by streaming issues on Sunday as Celtic v Aberdeen took place at Hampden. As supporters are locked out, they find themselves at the mercy of the TV companies and their streams. However, supporters were left disappointed when the online service provided by Premier buffered despite many viewers having perfectly working wifi.

The first half was plagued with streaming issues as the game bounced from end to end and supporters missed a fair amount of the action. Despite these issues, the player appeared to work in the second half without any issues but it was not an enjoyable experience for those that paid the 11.99 monthly subscription to watch the game stall and splutter.

Supporters were driven to other sources to watch the game, which funnily enough worked no problem. The broadcasters need to more to ensure that these streams are working and that the complaints of the supporters will be handled and addressed.

As a paying customer, it was with great disappointment that the game suffered technical issues and with the final next month as well as Betfred Cup, people will want more.
