“A proud day for us all as Celtic supporters,” Brendan’s email to fans

Everyone at Celtic Football Club would like to say a big thank you to you for your support and commitment, not just today but throughout the season.

BRENDAN RODGERS sent out an email to Celtic supporters after the Scottish Cup Final win over Motherwell at Hampden. You may have already read the manager’s message but for those who haven’t seen it, here’s what Brendan wrote:

“This afternoon’s Scottish Cup victory is a historic one for the Club and as the Celtic manager, I am privileged to have led such a talented, hard-working squad of players to secure back-to-back trebles, something that has never before been achieved in Scottish football history.

“We cannot achieve these things without you – you have played a crucial role in our Double Treble-winning success – and you are part of a winning Celtic team.

“We are always working and striving to improve our performances, and our success once again shows that together, as one club, with one vision, we are capable of achieving great things.

“This is a proud day for us all as Celtic supporters, and moments like this remind us what it means to be part of this great Club.

“I look forward to seeing many of you at Scott’s Testimonial match tomorrow here at Celtic Park, but no matter where you are in world, let’s enjoy this achievement and celebrate in style.

“With all our thanks and congratulations,

Brendan Rodgers
Manager, Celtic Football Club”
