“Real fans. Real football. Since 1888” – Celtic’s third kit is officially launched

Celtic officially released the third kit for season 2021/22 this morning after a number of leaks over the weekend gave us what turned out to be an accurate sneak preview of the white shirt with green and pink vertical stripes, based apparently on the stained glass window inside Celtic Park which is often used when new signings are made The pink is also a reference, is it not, to the European Cup Final ticket from 1967?

Here’s how the club describe the new third kit.

The crisp, clean white jersey features pink and green vertical pinstripes with a dark green ribbed v-neck collar and three-stripe detail to the shoulders. The Celtic crest sits proudly in the centre chest with a retro nod to Paradise featured in the inner neck of the shirt.

Matching white shorts and socks with the iconic three-stripes complete this classic look for the campaign ahead.

Made to keep you comfortable, the latest kit combines soft fabric and moisture-wicking AEROREADY. This adidas technology guarantees to keep you cool under pressure.

The future is our focus, no matter where the game may take us.

The Bhoys will wear this kit on the road with pride next season, and you can too.

Here’s the video that goes with the new kit launch…

The brand new adidas Celtic FC Third Kit is available to pre-order now ahead of its release on 15 July.
