Report from Poland says Celtic working hard on Juranovic deal

Josip Juranovic is being lined up as Celtic’s new right-back signing. The 25-year-old Croatian Internationalist has emerged as Ange Postecoglou’s main target as the club target defensive recruits over the next few days. The report from Poland says that the club are pursuing a deal with talks being held between the club and representatives of the full-back.

According to Sportowe Fatky, Ange Postecoglou’s side are working hard to get a deal done for the ten-capped Croatian Internationalist. The report details that as it stands, a deal is a few days away but they pit the chances as 50-50 at the moment.

Legia Warsaw are looking to sell after Juranovic helped the Polish outfit win the league last season but the defeat to Dinamo Zagreb means that they will face a stern test from Slavia Prague for a place in the Europa League group stages. As a result, the Polish Champions are keen on maximising their assets and one of those is Juranovic.

Celtic are in need of another central defender, another right-back, a winger and potentially a new striker with a couple of outgoings due in the next few weeks. Odsonne Edouard is one of those that are most likely to depart with a few clubs interested in the Frenchman.
