Reports Rubbished, Celtic should sign Forster ASAP

HITC have picked a poor time to report on the Greek media outlet Sportime’s story about Celtic eyeing a move for AEK Athens goalkeeper, Vassilis Barkas.

The Greek media’s suggestion that the 10-cap ‘keeper might be heading to Celtic seems quite far fetched considering the apparent clarity that Fraser Forster will be top of Celtic’s transfer targets after an impressive return to life in Glasgow.

The 31-year-old spent four years at Celtic from 2010 until 2014 saw the England International move to Southampton. Five years in England and ‘The Great Wall’ was back at Celtic Park, albeit initially on a loan from the Saints.

Forster should be top of Celtic’s wish-list and with the player, Neil Lennon and Southampton keen for a deal to happen, Celtic fans should be positive of seeing the big man for another few years.

If you needed reminded of Forster’s heroics last night, here is the one at the end… any excuse really!
