‘Road to recovery starts now,’ for Young Celtic Star

DANIEL ARZANI has taken to social media to thank the Celtic supporters for all the well-wishes he has received since injuring himself in a freak fall at Dens Park last Wednesday night.

The young Australian was introduced as a second half substitute and immediately impressed – setting up Kieran Tierney with a great chance to score (he missed!) and seemed to be revelling in wearing the famous green and white Hoops.

Then his luck changed and the freak accident has now ruled him out or the season.

The Aussie winger wrote: “Thank you to everyone who has taken the time out of their day to show support and love.

“I’m trying my best to reply to everyone but please understand this is also a very tough time for me as I received the bad news today that I will indeed need an ACL op ruling me out until next season.

“Apologies to the Celtic fans for my 20 minute cameo. This is however the beginning of my journey and I promise to be back better than ever. Day 1 road to recovery starts now.”
