Ross County v Celtic: team news, ref details, KO time & where to watch

Celtic face Ross County this lunchtime in the Cinch Premiership. The game will offer Brendan Rodgers’ side to go eight points ahead of theRangers, who are on cup duties this weekend. After the resilient win against St Mirren, where Celtic had to come from behind, Rodgers will be hoping for a win at another tricky away venue.

Team News

Celtic go into the game with the injuries of Stephen Welsh and Liel Abada. However, Cameron Carter-Vickers is back in contention after missing the midweek win. Summer signings Kwon and Marco Tilio haven’t featured yet and seem to be a way away from the first time picture so far.

Odin Thiago Holm and Yang impressed from the bench, as did Oh, so you wouldn’t be surprised if two of the three started. Although, it is likely that the match winner on Wednesday will likely need to settle for a place on the bench.

In goals, expect Joe Hart to continue. In defence, Liam Scales to partner the returning Carter-Vickers. The manager may look to bring Tony Ralston in given the volume of games at present with Greg Taylor on the left.

In midfield, expect Odin Thiago Holm to start in beside Matt O’Riley and Callum McGregor with Tomoki Iwata and Paolo Bernardo looking to show their credentials ahead of the trip to Madrid.

In attack, Kyogo will likely start through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Yang coming into the team. James Forrest didn’t impress a great deal when handed a start.

Predicted XI: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Holm; Yang, Kyogo, Maeda.
