Saturday night football – Celtic’s League Cup Semi-Final kick-off time confirmed

Celtic will play Kilmarnock in the League Cup Semi-Final at Hampden on Saturday 14th January, kicking off at 5:30pm. The broadcasters have confirmed that the game will be shown on Premier Sports as Ange looks to retain the trophy.

The other semi-final takes place on Sunday 15th January with Rangers facing Aberdeen. The teams will be vying for place in the showpiece final at the end of February, with the game set to take place on Sunday 26th.

The kick-off time is favourable to Celtic supporters, who will be able to enjoy the game under the lights at Hampden.

Last season, Ange picked up his first silverware as Celtic manager with a win over Hibernian at Hampden. Goals from Kyogo saw Celtic come from behind at the National Stadium to lift the trophy. It was a reward after a testing month and acted as a catalyst for the team to hit new heights after the New Year.
