Scooter Time: “Ange is our leader and we’ll follow the Celtic all over the World”

Time for some more Scooter? The Bhoys certainly thought so yesterday afternoon as they belted out this latest Scooter classic to bring new Celtic stars Liel Abada, Kyogo Furuhashi and of course our manager Ange Postecoglou into the latest Celtic chant. You can’t stop once you know the words…

We’ve got Abada he’s on the wing,
We’ve got Kyogo he’s doing his thing
Ange is our leader and we’ll follow the Celtic all over the World

A very random fact about Scooter which I think I’ve mentioned before. I once brought him along to a Motherwell v Celtic match at Fir park as the German was over in Scotland for a gig and loves his football. I’d been telling him all about Celtic and that he’d love it. Game ended 0-0 and it wasn’t even as entertaining as the scoreline suggests. The big guy was polite but you could tell he was unimpressed! Little did he know that he’d end up contributing the inspiration to not one but two classic Celtic chants!

You can watch the two Scooter videos that the two Celtic songs are based on HERE and HERE.

From 2 August…

  1. For a start it’s not Kee o go. It’s Kyo go. Is this what we have to listen to forever more? The line “ Kyogo’s doing his this thing “ is absolute mince. They should be made to compete in next years Eurovision for their sins.
