Scott Brown’s Brilliant Ibrox Pitch Dig

Scott Brown has brilliantly had a go at the Ibrox pitch whilst tweeting commentary during a re-run of the 2-0 win at Ibrox in September. The Celtic captain commented on the state of the pitch, which has been toiling since after the New Year – much like Gerrard’s team.

Brown was tweeting as Celtic FC replayed the match via Facebook and Youtube, allowing supporters to relive a brilliant win which has played its part in Celtic being 13 points clear at the postponement of the league due to Coronavirus.

Brown was brilliant that day as Celtic dominated and upset the Ibrox crowd by running out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes.

The Ibrox club revealed last month that their pitch was suffering from a disease, which during ties with Braga and Bayer Leverkusen resembled a quagmire. It was as a result of this, that they decided to lift the pitch.

Brown’s sarcastic tweet comes after ex-Celt Moussa Dembele, took to Twitter to have his own dig at Rangers’ Ibrox pitch stating that it is the only thing they’ll lift this season.
