Scottish Cup fifth round draw: Celtic face a home tie against St Johnstone or Clyde if they advance

We now know that Celtic will need to dump one of the Rangers out of the Scottish Cup in the fourth round, but the double draw today also gives us the chance to look ahead.

That might be more difficult this season as it’s tougher to have confidence in this team getting a result in the bigger games, but the last showing against the Rangers should give them confidence.

Celtic dominated the game and should’ve been out of sight before they scored with their only real chance as John Kennedy’s men switched off at a corner, so this is a great chance to make up for that and advance.

For those that are confident enough to look ahead to the later rounds, the fifth round draw has just been completed and Celtic face a potential tie at home against St Johnstone or Clyde:

You have to fancy that the Saints will advance in that tie and they did make it tough for Celtic last time out, but the fourth round needs to be taken care of first.
