Scottish Cup Final tickets on sale now!

TICKETS for the Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Motherwell are on sale NOW. Season ticket holders who are on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme and who purchased their ticket for the cup games against Brechin, Patrick Thistle and Morton can secure their tickets today.

The Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor has already confirmed this on Twitter this morning.

For the semi-final there were complaints that no notice had been given for the on sale time and date and this meant that some supporters who were eligible missed out as they weren’t on social media when the announcement was made. That game was against Rangers – Celtic won 4-0 – and obviously they had a bigger support at Hampden taking up just over half the ground. (It still annoys me that they have two or three extra rows behind the Mount Florida goal then we have at the Celtic end!)

For the Final though, Motherwell are acting sensibly and are set to bring around 12,500 supporters to the game. If their demand is higher they will have up to 15,000 tickets available but if these additional tickets aren’t sold a week before the final then they will be made available to Celtic season ticket holders.

Brendan Rodgers’side will be going for an historic double treble at Hampden on 19 May and the kick off is at 3pm. Tickets start at £30 for adults, but there is the annoying recorded delivery cost on top!

Celtic beat Aberdeen in both Cup Finals last season and have already beaten Motherwell in the Betfred Cup Final this season.
