“Sham of a manager” – These Celtic fans are split on Lennon’s decision to drop impressive player for the Cup Final vs Hearts

Managing the squad properly is one of the biggest challenges that a manager will face because it’s an evolving issue where so many things have to be taken into account.

There’s an argument to be made that poor squad management has hurt Neil Lennon this season, while the constant inclusion of Scott Brown is the perfect example.

Obviously he’s the captain and a key player so you want him to be on the pitch as much as possible, but if he’s playing poorly and other players aren’t getting regular chances then they will naturally start to feel downbeat and wonder if they should move.

Broony starts in the Cup Final today with Soro dropping to the bench after an impressive outing, so there’s a real mixed reaction among the supporters about that decision:

It’s likely that Brown was rested with a view to starting him in this game so it probably won’t surprise anyone, but players like Soro will start to wonder what they actually need to do to earn a regular spot in the team.
