Celtic striker Shin Yamada has been named in the B Team starting XI for this evening’s KDM Evolution Trophy clash against East Kilbride. The Japanese striker was an unused sub in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock at the weekend.
Now, Jonny Hayes has named the 25-year-old in his team as they look to beat the League Two side at Ross Commercial Finance Stadium.

Hayes has assumed control of the B Team after Stephen McManus was promoted to assist the interim management team following Brendan Rodgers’ shock resignation.
The Irishman did not appear to rate Shin, preferring Johnny Kenny to him. Given the injury to Callum Osmand, Celtic will want to have a look at the player as well as ensuring that he keeps himself fit.
The game is on Premier Sports 1 with coverage starting at 7:40pm.
