Six Changes as Celtic’s Europa League Group Stages Squad is Confirmed

The Celtic squad for the Europa League Group stags has confirmed, with Ange Postecoglou making six changes from the playoff round against AZ Alkmaar.

The players joining the Celtic squad are the five new signings – our three Likely Lads Scales, Juranovic and Giakoumakis plus Jota and Carter-Vickers. Also added to the squad is Christopher Jullien, a very positive sign that the French defender who has been out since last December with a knee injury is approaching a first team return.

The players dropping out of the squad are Conor Hazard, Boli Bolingoli, Luca Connell, Ryan Christie, Leigh Griffiths, Odsonne Edouard. Both Hazard and Bolingoli should really be looking for a move, although there may be a place for the goalkeeper in Tommy McIntyre’s Celtic B set-up. For the Belgian full-back he is so far out the picture at Celtic that his agents really must do all that they can to get his a transfer as soon as possible.

Both summer signing from Sheffield Wednesday – Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide – remain in the squad. Here’s the full details courtesy of Moravcik67. One correction on this, Scott Robertson has also gone out on loan so is NOT included on the B list.
