Sky Sports Pundit Slams Kent With Ajer Comparison

Former Parkhead favourite, Kris Commons, has slammed Ryan Kent in his latest comments for SunSport. The £7m gunman, has fired just six shots into the back of the net this season and has a grand total of zero assists in the last calendar year.

Commons berated the Ibrox player’s form by comparing his goalscoring exploits with Celtic centre half, Kristoffer Ajer. “Celtic’s Kris Ajer has scored more goals since the turn of the year and he’s a centre half,” the ex-Celt said. “Kent is bringing nothing to the table at the moment. For a winger to be playing for a club like Rangers and have no assists at this stage of the season is a pitiful return.”

Commons then drove the point home by comparing the Ibrox player with Leigh Griffiths, who fans of Kent’s club mocked when Neil Lennon said he would be like a new signing for Celtic this season. “Kent has played 1,404 minutes of league football this season for his six goals. Leigh Griffiths also has half a dozen Premiership goals but has done it in pretty much half the time (773 minutes).”
