SPFL reveal post-split details with final day kick-off time confirmed

The SPFL have confirmed the arrangements for the post-split fixtures. The league governing body have announced that the fixtures on the final day will be played at 12:30pm (Celtic Park time) on Saturday 18th May.

Celtic have enjoyed trophy day over the past two years and hopefully there is a third trophy day to enjoy. However, Brendan Rodgers and his team are two points behind Rangers despite having beaten the twice this season. It has been Celtic’s own form (mainly at home) that has allowed Rangers to claw back the difference and move top. With that said, there is a lot of football still to be played before the split.

The SPFL have confirmed the dates of the final rounds of fixtures with five match days that could be pivotal towards where the title ends up.

The full list of post-split fixture dates are:

Fixture round 34 – Weekend of April 27/28
Fixture round 35 – Weekend of May 4/5
Fixture round 36 – Weekend of May 11/12
Fixture round 37 – Midweek of May 14/15
Fixture round 38 – Weekend of May 18/19

SPFL Chief Operating Officer Calum Beattie told the SPFL website: “We are pleased to be able to announce the details for the final weekend of the cinch Premiership season. There is a huge amount to play for across the division before we reach the split in mid-April and we are very much looking forward to another exciting conclusion to the season.”
