St Mirren v Celtic: Ange and Reo’s media conference ahead of Paisley trip

Ange Postecoglou and Reo Hatate spoke to the media conference ahead of Sunday’s trip to Paisley to face St Mirren. The Scottish Champions return to the Cinch Premiership after winning the League Cup against Rangers last weekend and fans will be hoping for revenge following the defeat to The Buddies back in September.

Ange spoke about how competitive his team were and that they aren’t focused on what happened last time they visited this ground, instead Celtic will look to continue their fine run.

The win at Hampden sealed the first piece of silverware in Scottish football and whilst the manager was passionate after the game, he was calm and controlled, as we have come to expect. The game on Sunday will prove to be a challenge given Stephen Robinson’s impressive season thus far.

Hatate, meanwhile, spoke to the media conference after being crowned as February’s SPFL Player of the Month. The Japanese midfielder is in sparkling form and his infectious personality matches the high energy that we see on the pitch. Hatate was involved in both goals, directly assisting Kyogo for the goal that proved to be the winner.
