St Mirren v Celtic: Predicted XI with one change from win over Rangers

Celtic face St Mirren tomorrow afternoon as the Scottish Champions return to Cinch Premiership duty after the League Cup win over theRangers. Ange Postecoglou’s team are back in Paisley, the scene of their 2-0 defeat in September, as Celtic look to continue their incredible run since this early season defeat.

In goals, Joe Hart will start. The Englishman conceded at Hampden but was a composed figure between the sticks. Hart was full of passion in the celebrations at the end, emphasising how much the club means to him.

In defence, Ange will go for the settled back four of Ally Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor ahead of him.

In the middle of the park, expect Callum McGregor to start at the base of the midfield with Aaron Mooy and Reo Hatate ahead of him. Both the goals at Hampden came through the midfield trio and they ran over the top of theRangers.

In attack, Kyogo will almost certainly start through the middle with Sead Haksabanovic on the left and Daizen Maeda on the right. Jota has been sparkling form this season but wasn’t at his fluid best at Hampden. The arrival of Sead Hakšabanović onto the pitch gave Celtic a lift.

Predicted Team: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor (C), Mooy, Hatate; Hakšabanović, Kyogo, Maeda.
