Celtic notched up a big win on the road against Ross County yesterday as goals from Kyogo and Jota sealed three points for Ange Postecoglou’s team. It was a hard-fought win and one that Celtic richly deserved. However, a supporter on Twitter has highlighted the difference in the starting XI from the last time Celtic faced Ross County in Dingwall, showing how far Celtic have come in a matter of months.

Today, Celtic started with Kyogo, Maeda, Jota in attack whilst on their last visit, a front three comprised of Montgomery, Abada and Juranovic. Celtic were struggling with squad depth back in December but looking at the bench today, it emphasises how quickly Ange has built a team that are closing in on the league title. The January signings have had an impact (bar Guchi, who suffered an injury) which have resulted in Celtic propelling themselves on an incredible run of form that sees Ange’s team nearing the league title.
The win back in December, courtesy of a Tony Ralston winner in the 97th minute, closed the gap on then-leaders theRangers to four points. Now as April comes to a close, Celtic are 6 points clear and have a goal difference of +19. You would expect those across the city to worry about what Ange might be able to do with another summer transfer window as he looks to strengthen once more.
