Stunning Celtic home shirt for 2025/26 season leaked online

A stunning leak of the Celtic home shirt has emerged on social media. The Scottish Champions will become an ‘elite team’ in their partnership with Adidas, meaning that Celtic supporters will benefit from more output from the German kit manufacturer. As the season draws to a close with the remaining Premiership fixtures and Scottish Cup Final to look forward to, preparations for the new season are already underway.

In a photograph that emerged on social media on Wednesday evening, a tartan inspired Celtic short was teased, which appears to be similar to the Nike Hoops effort from 2011/12.

It was reported earlier in the year that Celtic would look to release a tartan-inspired home shirt for the 2025/26 season. This design appears to fit the description of the article by FootyHeadlines back in November that stated that Celtic would go for a tartan Hoops design.

Although, it has been done before. In Neil Lennon’s first two seasons at the club, Celtic had a smart Hoops shirt, which looked like it had a tartan feel to it.

Celtic fans will be looking out for an official announcement in the coming weeks over the new kits for next season. It is expected that an announcement will be made in June regarding the new home shirt.

  1. No, please no. Celtic should never have tartan. (Just my personal opinion, separates too much from Ireland).
