Team Leaks and the Starting Eleven

NEIL LENNON appears to have outed the team leaking mole with the rather ridiculous rumour that Marvin Compper would play a part in proceedings at St Mirren on Wednesday night.

This was NOT something that you read about on The Celtic Star, in the same way you didn’t read about the Salzburg manager, or David Moyes or a few other quotes names being lined up for the Celtic job that remains Neil Lennon’s to lose.

A win today against Livingston will see him DOUBLE the points gap over second best the Rangers. When he took over a matter of hours after Rodgers sneaked away in the dead of night, the gap was EIGHT points but Celtic faces some tricky games away to Hearts and St Mirren where on previous visits Rodgers picked up one point from six.

Lenny has taken maximum points on his trips to these grounds and of course beat Hibs in the Scottish Cup at Easter Road. It’s possible we’ll go there in a fortnight looking to wrap up the title although with a 16 points advantage after a win today we could win it tomorrow. Delicious!

So to today’s Celtic team.

Scott Bain continues in goal.

The back four consists of Benkovic, Ajer. Simunovic and Tierney.

In midfield Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic, Ryan Christie play while the front two are Forrest and Edouard.

Subs are de Vries, Lustig, Hayes, Ntcham, Sinclair, Weah and Burke.
