Team’s Up – Abada on the wing, Kyogo doing his thing

Here’s the Celtic side to play Blackburn Rovers at Paradise this lunchtime.

Joe Hart is the sweeper/keeper while Josip Juranovic gets the nod at right-back ahead of Anthony Ralston. Same situation at left-back with Greg Taylor starting and new signing Bernabei on the bench.

With Carl Starfelt still sidelined, Stephen Welsh is starting alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers in the centre of the Celtic defence.

In the middle of the park the three today are our captain Callum McGregor and he is joined by the goalscoring threats of Matt O’Riley and David Turnbull, with Reo Hatate as expected missing out through injury.

James Forrest drops to the bench with Liel Abada starting on the right ing and Jota on the left. Kyogo, celebrating one year as a Celt today, leads the line.

Other subs are the three goalies Bain, Siegrist and Oluwayemi and outfield players Jullien, McCarthy, Johnston, Ideguchi, Kenny Urhoghide, Maeda – who isn’t forgotten today – Lawal and Vata plus the aforementioned Bernabei, Ralston and Forrest.

Kick-off is at 12.30pm, a big crowd is expected and the match is live to all subscribers on Celtic TV and is also being shown live on Premier Sports.

A decent test is expected for Celtic but expect a victory and a good few goals in what is hopefully another entertaining game.

And here is the Blackburn Rovers team news and their team arriving taking in the sights at Paradise…
