Ange Postecoglou has named his starting XI for this evening’s game against Hibernian. The Scottish Champions travel to Easter Road looking to take a nine-point lead over Rangers into the New Years clash at Ibrox. In the 4-1 win over St Johnstone, Celtic looked more clinical and hoping that the manager’s telling-off pushes them to similar performances tonight.
In goals, Joe Hart starts between the sticks. The Englishman was beaten after making an impressive double save against St Johnstone but will be hoping to pick up a clean sheet after conceding in the last two games.
In defence, Reo Hatate continues at right back with Greg Taylor at left back. The central defensive pairing comprises of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt.
In midfield, captain Callum McGregor starts at the base of the midfield. He is joined by Aaron Mooy on the left and Matt O’Riley on the right.
In attack, Kyogo starts up front and he is assisted by the Daizen Maeda and Liel Abada in the wide areas.
On the bench: Siegrist, Jenz, Giakoumakis, Jota, Bernabei, Abildgaard. Forrest, Vata, Juranovic
