Team’s Up! – And Paradise is a 60k sell-out for Revenge Mission

NEIL LENNON has named his strongest possible side as he sets his sights on a victory over Dan Petrescu’s side that will see Celtic leapfrog Cluj to go top of this competitive Europa League Group. It’s also exactly the team predicted on The Celtic Star this afternoon!

Celtic picked up a point on the opening night against Rennes while Cluj came back from a goal down to shock Lazio with a 2-1 win.

Yet Celtic having already drawn in Romania this season will have no fears about returning there in the final game. But it is the three home games where Celtic must ensure at least seven but preferably nine points and that starts this evening where a win will be particularly sweet given the bizarre outcome when Cluj were able to take advantage of some calamitous defending from Lennon’s side to grab a shock 4-3 win and eliminate Celtic from the Champions League.

Tonight these players will have that very much in their minds as they go all out to prove that the August defeat – the only one suffered this season – was a complete and utter fluke.

The Celtic side is

Forster

Elhamed, Ajer, Jullien, Bolingoli

Brown, McGregor

Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi

Edouard

Subs are Gordon, Bitton, Hayes, Sinclair, Rogic, Ntcham, Bauer

Please note that Bayo sits this one out as he is suspended after that ludicrous red card he received from the dodgy Spanish referee in Rennes.
