Team’s Up – And The Celtic Star is at Ibrox

With kick-off quickly approaching at Ibrox, Celtic FC Women have named their lineup to face Rangers.

Daugherty starts in goal, an expected name in the squad. Chloe Craig, Kelly Clark and Caitlin Hayes make up a solid defence. Shen Mengyu, Shen Menglu, Natalie Ross and Paula Partido have been named in midfield. Kit Loferski, Amy Gallacher and Tash Flint will be our attacking options for today.

No unexpected changes to the squad this afternoon as Elena Sadiku names, what is arguably, one of her best elevens for this Glasgow Derby.

The bench consists of Chloe Logan, Celya Barclais, Sydney Cummings, Jennifer Smith, Colette Cavanagh, Murphy Agnew, Lucy Ashworth-clifford, Maria McAneny and Nourimane Addi.

Rangers have named a strong team, so this could certainly be a tight game as I discussed in-depth in my match preview.

Rangers team: Jenna Fife, Nicola Docherty, Kathy Hill, Tess Middag, Brogan Hay, Rachel Rowe, Rio Hardy, Jane Ross, Lizzie Arnot, Chelsea Cornet and Liv McLoughlin.

This season, we have been poor against Rangers, having not beat them so far. This is a title-decider so let’s hope that we can finally stand up to our bitter rivals.

As we know, away fans were banned from attending Ibrox yesterday, which we discussed on The Celtic Star. I am attending as media and will be providing live updates over on Twitter! @jjessicur

And of course… A match report will quickly follow.
