Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Dundee United. The Scottish Champions are bolstered by the return of first team starters in defence, Taylor and Carter-Vickers had been out with injuries but are back as Celtic look to regain their nine point lead.
In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman has kept four clean sheets in a row and will hope to extend that run this afternoon.
In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers returns to the central pairing alongside Carl Starfelt. At left back, Greg Taylor also returns. Ally Johnston starts at right back.
Callum McGregor who makes his 400th appearance for Celtic today starts at the base of the Celtic midfield. The skipper is joined by Aaron Mooy and Reo Hatate.
In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Jota and Liel Abada on either side.
On the bench: Bain, Haksabanovic, Turnbull, Kobayashi, Oh, Iwata, O’Riley, Maeda and Forrest.
It is a strong bench and one that has a number of players that fans will be keen to see – namely Iwata and Oh. The January signings will hope to get minutes in their legs this afternoon.
