Team’s Up – CCV returns, Haksabanovic on the wing

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Motherwell. The Celtic manager knows that a win will put enormous pressure on Rangers, who travel to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen tomorrow afternoon. The Scottish Champions could go 15 points clear, which would effectively seal 2IAR.

The manager has named his team for the game, which kicks off at 3pm.

Joe Hart, who turned 36 this week, will start in goals. The Englishman made a couple of excellent saves last weekend from rare Kilmarnock attacks.

The defence comprises Greg Taylor and Alistair Johnstone in the full-back berths. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt make up the central pairing.

In midfield, Tomoki Iwata and Callum McGregor will start. Matt O’Riley got the MOTM accolade last weekend and he starts looking to continue his form.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Sead Haksabanovic and Daizen Maeda.

On the bench: Bain, Mooy, Turnbull, Kobayashi, Oh, Bernabei, Summers, Ralston, Vata.

This is the last home game before the split and hopefully we can break the record of 106 goals set by Martin O’Neill’s team.
