Team’s Up – Celtic side to face Vorskla Poltava in UWCL

Elena Sadiku has named the Celtic side to take on Ukrainian Champions Vorskla Poltava in the first leg of the UWCL match at Airdrie…

The Women’s Champions League kicks off at 12 noon Celtic Park Time and is live on Premier Sports and on Celtic TV for subscribers outside of Britain and Ireland.

McGregor, Gallacher and Agnew get the nod as the front three with Lofeski and Noonan on the bench and likely to be deployed as the game progresses.

The Celtic team is Daugherty, Hayes, Clark (c), Bruna, Kerner,  Ashworth-Clifford, Ross, Cavanagh, McGregor, Gallacher and Agnew.

The Celtic subs are Rodgers, Barclais, Richardson, Smith, S. Carstens, M. Carstens, Cross, Noonan, Loferski, Lawton and McAneny.

This is a new territory for Celtic in the Women’s Champions League and with the second leg also at Airdrie on Thursday night the team has an unbelievable opportunity to make history and take Celtic towards the group stages and the riches that comes with that.
