Team’s Up – Craig Levein names St Johnstone starting XI

Craig Levein has named his St Johnstone team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership clash with Celtic. The Scottish Champions host the visitors from Perth while looking to regain their place at the top of the table. Levein will be plotting to make a nuisance of himself and put the Saints closer towards safety.

The former Hearts and Dundee Utd manager has named his team:

Mitov, Keltjens, McGowan, Gordon, Considine, Robinson, Sprangler, Phillips, Carey, M.Smith, Sidibeh.

Subs: Richards, Gallacher, May, Clark, Kucheriavyi, Kimpioka, Franczak, C.Smith.

Elsewhere, Brendan Rodgers made two changes from the team that beat Livingston last weekend. Kyogo comes in for Adam Idah, who drops to the bench, while Cameron Carter-Vickers replaces the injured Liam Scales.

Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Welsh, Taylor, Iwata, O’Riley, Bernardo, Kuhn, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Lagerbielke, Idah, Holm, Oh, Vata, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston.

The game kicks off at 3pm and Celtic will be hoping that by 5pm, they are top of the table before Rangers play Dundee at Dens Park.
