Team’s Up – Derek McInnes names Killie XI for Celtic clash

Derek McInnes has named his Kilmarnock team for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash against Celtic. The visitors from Rugby Park have struggled on the road this season but will be keen to avoid falling into a relegation battle.

McInnes has named a typically physical team with pace in the final third, likely designed to hurt Celtic on the break.

Kilmarnock: O’Hara, Mayo, Wright, Findlay, Ndaba, Donnelly, Lyons, Watson, Murray, Armstrong, Wales.

Subs: McCrorie, Ramsay, Deas, Polworth, Kennedy, Anderson, Mackay-Steven, Watkins, Cameron.

Elsewhere, Brendan has named his team and it appears that the manager is making a statement after the defeat at St Johnstone.

Sinisalo, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Forrest, Maeda, Idah.

Subs: Bain, Trusty, Jota, Kuhn, McCowan, Schlupp, Bernardo, Nawrocki, Ralston.

The game kicks off at 12:30 and is live on Sky Sports Football. The match will be refereed by John Beaton with Celtic closing in on the title. It is a beautiful day in Glasgow’s East End and it would’ve been even better if Celtic could secure the title today but the result last weekend means that Brendan’s side cannot do it today.
