Team’s Up – Don Cowie names Ross County XI for Celtic clash

Ross County manager Don Cowie has named his Starting XI for this afternoon’s Premiership clash against Celtic. The Scottish Champions have travelled to the Highlands to face the in-form Staggies in sub-zero temperatures in Dingwall.

Ronan Hale scored the first Premiership goal against Celtic this season back in October but hasn’t scored since the end of November. The Irishman will lead the line for Cowie today against his boyhood club.

Ross County: Amissah, Brown, Wright, Lopata, Harmon, Randall, Kenneh, Nisbet, Campbell, Chilvers, Hale.

Subs: Hamilton, Lamie, Allardice, Loturi, Phillips, Grieves, Telfer, White, Reid.

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has named his side for this afternoon despite having just one fit winger. The manager has started both Kyogo and Adam Idah in attack with Yang.

Celtic: Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty, Valle, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Yang, Kyogo, Idah.

Subs: Sinisalo, Scales, Taylor, McCowan, Kenny, Bernardo, Montgomery, Cummings, Ralston.

Celtic have beaten Ross County in each of their last 13 meetings, stretching back to February 2021 – a result which cost Neil Lennon his job. The game is live on Sky Sports and kicks off at 12:30pm (Celtic Park Time).
