Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for the afternoon’s Scottish Premiership game against Hearts. The Scottish Champions have travelled across the M8 to face the league leaders in an exciting early season clash. After the 2-1 win over Strum Graz, Celtic were left to rue injuries with Alistair Johnston, Kelechi Iheanacho and Cameron Carter-Vickers all sidelined.
The manager has replaced the first team players with youth products, Colby Donovan, Dane Murray and Johnny Kenny all start in what could be a massive day in Celtic’s hunt for a fifth consecutive title.

In goals, Kasper Schmeichel starts.
In defence, Donovan comes in at right back with Kieran Tierney and left back. Liam Scales starts alongside Murray. The manager has gone with the right footed central defender over Auston Trusty to give the team more balance.
In midfield, Callum McGregor and Arne Engels start in the deeper role with Reo Hatate further forward.
In attack, Kenny leads the line with Seb Tounekti and Benji Nygren on the wings.
On the bench: Sinisalo, Trusty, Balikwisha, McCowan, Shin, Bernardo, Saracchi, Forrest & Ralston.
The Celtic team looks light but after the midweek result there will be a real belief that they can get a result.
