Team’s Up – Elyounoussi starts, Forrest on bench

John Kennedy has named his team for the lunchtime kick off against Dundee United at Tannadice. The interim manager has decided to make one change, bringing Elyounoussi in for Klimala.

In goals, Scott Bain continues as Number 1, despite Vasilis Barkas returning to training and Conor Hazard signing a new deal.

In defence, Kris Ajer is partnered with Stephen Welsh at the centre of the Celtic defence whilst Jonjoe Kenny starts at right-back with Diego Laxalt operating on the left.

In midfield, captain Scott Brown is joined by Callum McGregor, David Turnbull and Ryan Christie.

In attack, league top scorer Odsonne Edouard starts alongside Moi Elyounoussi.

On the bench for Celtic: Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Rogic, Forrest, Montgomery.

Celtic have won the previous meetings against Dundee United this season, winning 1-0 in August as well as a 3-0 win at Celtic Park in December. Ajeti scored a late winner in the earlier trip to Tannadice and interim boss John Kennedy will be hoping that the game is more inline with the comfortable win before the New Year. Soro, Turnbull and Edouard gave Celtic the win that day.

Dundee Utd team v Celtic: Siegrist, Smith, Reynolds, Edwards, Butcher, Robson, Harkes, Fuchs, Clark, Shankland, McNulty.

Subs: Deniz, Sporle, Connolly, Pawlett, Hoti, Chalmers, Bolton, Appere, Neilson.
