Team’s Up – French stars start but no Christie

NEIL LENNON brings back his first team stalwarts for the Premiership match against Hibs at Celtic Park in the 3pm kickoff. Celtic are looking to pick up the three points to restore the two point advantage that will be wiped out with the Rangers winning 2-0 at Fir Park in the early kickoff.

Fraser Forster is as expected back in goals after getting a well deserved rest on Thursday night with Craig Gordon doing well despite the 2-0 defeat.

Jeremie Frimpong is free to start today despite picking up that unfortunate red card at Hampden last Sunday and Boli Bolingoli who returned to first team action in Cluj after an injury lay-off stretching back to the League Cup semi-Final winover today’s opponents, starts at as a left wing back.

Kris Ajer and Christopher Jullien are in their familiar spots in the centre of the Celtic defence alongside Nir Bitton as Celtic go three at the back.

Scott Brown and Callum McGregor were also left behind to rest up in midweek and start in the number 6 and 8 roles respectively.

Olivier Ntcham will play in the advanced and central number 10 position with James Forrest playing up top beside Odsonne Edouard.

Ryan Christie didn’t travel to Romania and is missing today.
