Team’s Up – Giakoumakis and Juranovic start

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s clash against St Johnstone at Celtic Park. The visitors from Perth will provide a tough test for the Celts but Postecoglou will be buoyed by his side’s form in the last few weeks. Following the win over Ferencvaros in the Europa League on Tuesday afternoon, the manager has opted to make a couple of changes.

In goals, Joe Hart continues. The Englishman has been excellent since signing from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and he will be looking for a third clean sheet in a row.

The Celtic defence is comprised of Tony Ralston at right-back, Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers at centre back and Josip Juranovic at left-back. Josip Juranovic comes in for Adam Montgomery.

In the midfield, Ange has named the same trio that started against the Hungarian Champions. Celtic’s captain Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic and David Turnbull continue.

In attack, Jota starts on the right, the Portuguese winger is joined by Kyogo on the left and Giorgos Giakoumakis through the middle.

On the Celtic bench: Bain, Bitton, Ajeti, Johnston, Abada, Montgomery and Welsh.
