Team’s Up – Hart captains strong Celts, Abada starts

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has named a strong team for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Fourth Round game against Buckie Thistle.

Joe Hart captains the Celts.

At the back, Maik Nawrocki partners Liam Scales in the centre of defence. Greg Taylor starts at left back with Alistair Johnston at right back.

In midfield, there is no Callum McGregor, with Paolo Bernardo and Matt O’Riley playing alongside Odin Thiago Holm.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Liel Abada and Luis Palma on the right and left respectively.

On the bench: Bain, Lagerbielke, Turnbull, Bernabei, Vata, Kelly, Ralston, Welsh, M. Johnston.

  1. For a player who plays on the touchline to be caught offside as often as Abada was today is baffling to say the very least!
    It isn’t as if he doesn’t have the pace to give the full back a few yards start every time! Also, being on the wing, he can very clearly see all the way across the line to the other touchline! A winger should not be caught offside twice in the same game!
