Team’s Up – Idah and Scales start, Kyogo on bench, CCV rested

Brendan Rodgers has named the exact team predicted by Just an Ordinary Bhoy this morning for the game against Kilmarnock this afternoon. As he said that was a prediction and NOT a leak!

Kasper Schmeichel is in goals, the back four are Alistair Johnston, Auston Trusty, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor. The midfield three are Callum McGregor, Arne Engels and Reo Hatate while up from Celtic start with Nicolas Kuhn, Adam Idah and Daizen Maeda.

So that’s two changes from the side that started against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday night with Cameron Carter-Vickers not in the squad today – no doubt a precaution given the plastic surface – and Kyogo dropping to the bench.

The two coming in are Liam Scales and Adam Idah, as we told you earlier today!

The Celtic subs are Sinisalo, Kyogo, Valle, Yang, McCowan, Bernardo, Forest Ralston and Welsh.

Brendan on getting back to bread and butter business after beating RB Leipzig: “It was a great night for everyone at the club. The supporters will have had a glow for a few days and rightly so because their team did them proud. But now we’re back to our bread and butter and getting ready for Kilmarnock.”
