Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership game against Rangers. The Scottish Champions will be hoping to get three points to extend their lead over their rivals to six points.
The Irishman has decided to start Daizen Maeda and James Forrest in the wide areas as Celtic look to put their rivals to the sword.
In goals, Joe Hart starts.
In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers starts alongside Liam Scales in the central pairing with Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor in the fullbacks.
In midfield, captain Callum McGregor starts alongside Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.
In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Daizen Maeda and James Forrest.

Celtic haven’t won a forth league meeting between the sides since 2017/18, when Rodgers’ side won 5-0 to win the league against Rangers.
