Team’s Up – Japanese Maestro returns, Hakšabanović starts

Ange Postecoglou has named his side for this afternoon’s crucial game against Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh. The Scottish Champions travel to Tynecastle with a place in the Scottish Cup Semi Finals at Hampden at stake, in good form and coming into the game off the back of the 3-1 win over today’s hosts at Celtic Park on Wednesday night.

In goals, Joe Hart has the gloves and he has his own personal targets in the Scottish Cup this season as a victory in the final would  allow him to join Kenny Dalglish in having a compete set of English and Scottish winners medals.  Ahead of Joe Hart is Ange Postecoglou’s  first pick back four comprising of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor. The two full-backs replace Tony Ralston and Alexandro Bernabei from the team that won on Wednesday evening.

Kyogo leads the line

In midfield, Reo Hatate return’s after he started as a substitute in midweek clearly with today’s match in mind. The Japanese Maestro is  joined in the Celtic starting XI alongside skipper Callum McGregor and Aaron Mooy, with Matt O’Riley dropping to the bench.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle following his MOTM display on Wednesday. Two players that impressed from the bench, Jota and Sead Hakšabanović start in the wide areas, with the injured Daizen Maeda and Liel Abada dropping out.

Today’s Celtic side is as follows: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Hatate, Mooy; Jota, Kyogo, Hakšabanović.

Subs: Bain, Ralston, Bernabei, Kobayashi, Abada, O’Riley, Iwata, Oh, Turnbull.
