Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this evening’s UEFA Europa League clash with Strum Graz. The Scottish Champions are in an uncharacteristic rut with the manager keen to get his side firing on all cylinders for the weekend’s trip to Tynecastle. A win tonight is essential to revive Celtic’s UEL campaign with one point on the board after two games.
In goals, Kasper Schmeichel starts.
In defence, Alistair Johnston returns and starts with Kieran Tierney, Liam Scales and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
In midfield, Callum McGregor starts with Reo Hatate and Arne Engels.
In attack, Seb Tounekti starts with Kelechi Iheanacho and Benjamin Nygren.
It remains to be seen whether the manager will persist with a 4-3-3 or whether he will go for a three at the back. Johnston adds an attacking dimension to the team, one that has been lacking in the last few weeks. Hopefully his return to the side can act as a catalyst for Brendan’s team.
Subs: Sinisalo, Trusty, Balikwisha, Yang, McCowan, Kenny, Bernardo, Saracchi, Murray, Forrest, Donovan & Ralston.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a team selection, with so many players who are off form.
Schmeikel, CCV, Tierney, the whole midfield, Tounekti and a right winger who should be retired.
I know I’m biased, didn’t like Rodgers the first time, still don’t, but surely we can all see he’s just not committed anymore.
