Team’s Up – Kasper keeps the gloves, McCowan and Ralston start

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to take on Motherwell at Celtic Park this afternoon in the 3pm kick-off. The Champions currently trail leaders Hearts by five points after Derek McInnes’ side grabbed all three points in the Edinburgh Derby against Hibs yesterday afternoon with a stoppage time winner.

Celtic really must respond this afternoon and that task has been given to the following Celtic line-up.

In goals Kasper Schmeichel keeps the gloves despite his howler the other night against Sporting Braga in the 2-0 Europa League defeat at Celtic Park.

The back four are Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales and Marcelo Saracchi

Callum McGregor is joined by Reo Hatate and Luke McCowan in the middle of the park and the front three are Kelechi Iheanacho, Sebastian Tounekti, Daizen Maeda.

Subs are Viljami Sinisalo, James Forrest, Yang, Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Johnny Kenny, Kieran Tierney, Dane Murray, Arne Engels, Paluo Bernardo and Johnny Kenny.

Kickoff is at 3pm, here’s hoping for a good win.
