Team’s Up – McIntyre picks Celtic B XI to play Bo’ness

Tommy McIntyre has named his side to play Bo’ness this afternoon. The Celtic B Team manager takes his side to Newtown Park, Bo’ness to navigate the tricky away game in the Scottish Lowland League.

Celtic have two wins and a draw from their opening four fixtures as they sit in 8th place but they will move ahead of Bo’ness United with a win today against the Falkirk side. The game kicks off at 3pm and fans can keep themselves up to date via the club’s official B Team Twitter – @CelticFCB.

The manager has gone for:

Oluwayemi, Jackson, Lawal, Hjelde (C), Paterson, Murphy, Carse, Wylie, Vata, Moffat and Brooks.

On the bench: Davidson, Mullen, Letsosa and Dawson.

The opportunity for the youngsters to play regular competitive football will reap rewards in the next few years as players see the opportunity to train within the club and also pull on the Hoops. Hopefully, we start to see players progress from the ‘B Team’ into Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squads moving forward.
