Team’s Up – Michael Beale names team to face Celtic

Michael Beale has named his Rangers team for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Semi Final. Celtic won the league game three weeks ago at Celtic Park but at Hampden, it’s all to play for.

The Scottish Champions are chasing a Treble under Ange Postecoglou but Rangers will be hoping to salvage their season by retaining the trophy.

Allan McGregor starts in goals.

A defensive four off James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Ben Davies and Borna Barisic.

In midfield, Niko Raskin, John Lundstrum and Tod Cantwel start.

Malik Tillman and Ryan Kent occupy the wide areas with Alfredo Morelos through the middle.

Rangers: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Barisic, Lundstram, Raskin, Cantwell, Tillman, Kent, Morelos.

Subs: McLaughlin, Yilmaz, Hagi, Souttar, Matondo, Kamara, Wright, Sakala, Arfield.

Meanwhile, Ange’s Celtic team welcomes Reo Hatate and Jota to the starting XI.

Celtic: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda.

The winners of the game this afternoon will play Inverness CT in the final at Hampden on Saturday 3rd June.

The game kicks off at 1:30pm and the referee is Willie Collum.
