Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic side to take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership match at Celtic Park this Christmas Eve afternoon. The Celtic manager signalled after the match against Livingston in midweek that he’d be looking at making some changes today as he was unhappy with the intensity of the Celtic performance and sure enough the team selection today clearly freshens the side up and reminds the starting eleven that there are plenty of other top players in the squad desperate to play.
Since returning from the World Cup break Celtic have had to play after theRangers and with them winning 1-0 at Dingwall last night, the Hoops require the three points today to restore our nine points lead at the top of the league looking down on theRangers.

Joe Hart; Aaron Mooy, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt, Greg Taylor; Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley, Reo Hatate; Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and James Forrest.
On the bench: Ben Siegrist, Moritz Jenz, Alexandro Bernabei, David Turnbull, Jota, Sead Hakšabanović, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Bosun Lawal.
As usual Ange Postecoglou will look to his bench throughout the course of the match with a triple substitution expected around the hour mark. It’s a brilliant tactic by the Celtic boss and one that has worked well in just about every game.

The match kicks off at 12.30pm and there will be a sell-out crowd inside Paradise ready to make some noise for the Bhoys and make sure we’re nine points clear at Christmas!
