Team’s Up – Nawrocki starts, Idah and Kuhn on bench

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership clash with Aberdeen. The Scottish Champions are in the North East to face the managerless Dons, who emptied Barry Robson earlier this week.

Rodgers had asked for quality reinforcements in January and only Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna and Adam Idah from Norwich City (loan) arrived.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman has kept two clean sheets in his last two outings.

In defence, Maik Nawrocki partners Liam Scales in the central pairing with Alistair Johnston and Alexandro Bernabei in the full back berths.

In midfield, Callum McGregor starts with Paulo Bernardo and Matt O’Riley in the central three.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Lila Abada and Luis Palma.

On the bench: Bain, Kuhn, Idah, Holm, Vata, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston, Welsh.

Come on Celtic!
