Team’s Up – no changes from Cup Final team, Kyogo up top

Ange Postecoglou has named his side for this afternoon’s game against St Mirren. After yesterday’s result at Ibrox, Celtic will look to re-establish the nine point gap at the summit of the table.

The manager has picked the same team that won the League Cup against Rangers last weekend.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman conceded at Hampden but was a composed figure between the sticks. Hart was full of passion in the celebrations at the end, emphasising how much the club means to him.

In defence, Ange goes for the settled back four of Ally Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor.

In the middle of the park, expect Callum McGregor to start at the base of the midfield with Aaron Mooy and Reo Hatate ahead of him. Both the goals at Hampden came through the midfield trio and they ran over the top of theRangers.

In attack, Kyogo starts through the middle with Daizen Maeda on the left and Jota on the right. Jota has been sparkling form this season but wasn’t at his fluid best at Hampden. The superstar from Portugal will be eyeing a big performance against The Buddies.

On the bench: Bain, Haksabanovic, Abada, Turnbull, Kobayashi, Oh, Iwata, O’Riley, Ralston.
