Team’s Up – O’Riordan’s full debut, Ross and Bowie both start

Fran Alonso has rotated the squad, as he usually does, for this afternoon’s SWPL1 visit to K-Park to take on hosts Motherwell. The Celtic FC Women coach was probably reminding his players in the dressing room as news filtered in from Tannadice that they were the first Celtic side to win 9-0 this season, against Hibs in the season opener.

Today though Fran Alonso expects a much closer contest and the side he’s named will hopefully get the three points to maintain their own 100% record at the start of this season.

Mexican international goalkeeper Pam O’Tajonar will be looking for yet another clean sheet and the back three are Clark, Hayes and Irish international O’Riordan. Bowie and Asworth-Clifford will provide the width with Robertson, Otto Ross and Chance in the middle of the park.

Larisey leads the line with the two wingers in support and there’s plenty of help on the bench as and when required.  Subs for Celtic FC Women today are Craig, Gallacher, Jacynta, Shen, Fergusson,Burchill, Menglu, Marwaha and McAnemy.
