Team’s Up – Palma starts, Marco Tilio on bench

Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s game against Motherwell. The Scottish Champions will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table.

In goals, Joe Hart starts.

In defence, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales start in the central pairing. Greg Taylor and Tony Ralston start in the full back berths.

In the midfield, skipper Callum McGregor is joined by Scandinavian duo Odin Thiago Holm and Matt O’Riley.

In attack, Kyogo starts with Yang and Palma on the wings.

On the bench: Scott Bain, Alistair Johnston, Nat Phillips, David Turnbull, Oh, Marco Tilio, Alexandro Bernabei, Paolo Bernardo, Mikey Johnston.

Brendan will be keen to use his bench, especially given the midweek game against Lazio in Rome. It would be good to see Australian internationalist Marco Tilio make his debut after being named in the squad for the first time.

The game kicks off at 3pm and Steven McLean will referee the game.

Earlier today, the team arrived as the GB/Bhoys welcomed them with a colourful and noisy display. Hopefully, they return to the ground soon.
