Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to take on Dundee United in the mid-day Scottish Premiership match at Tannadice Park…
Kasper Schmeichel is in goals, while Anthony Ralston comes into the team with Alistair Johnston sitting this one out. Stephen Welsh joins Liam Scales at the centre of the Celtic defence and Greg Taylor is in the team at left back
In the middle of the park Callum McGregor is joined by Luke McCowan and Reo Hatate while the front three are Yang on the right, Daizen Maeda on the left and Kyogo through the middle.
As always the Celtic manager has a strong bench featuring Sinisalo, Palma, Idah, Valle, Nawrocki, Engels, Bernardo, Bonnar and Donavan.
Brendan Rodgers spoke about an illness bug in the Celtic camp and that seems to have had an impact on the side with the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Nicolas Kuhn sitting this one out.
Here’s Chris Sutton previewing the match for Sky Sports.
🍀 “The first trophy of the season is really important, uneventful final as it was last weekend”
🍊 “They’ve got a nice balance in the way they play, Sam Dalby – a striker who’s bang in form”
